First, let us say “Thank you!” for taking on this important work. Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation (TVR) programs reach far beyond the individuals sitting in your offices. They reach into tribal communities, tribal families and tribal nations, providing opportunities for healing and strengthening. TVR is the kind of work that, when carried out with integrity and honor, provides that same opportunity for all who walk through those doors.

The goal of this Toolkit is to help a new or established TVR Director quickly and easily move through the steps of setting up a TVR agency to provide services. Ultimately, we hope this Toolkit will help TVR Directors to build confidence in their contributions to community-building. The Toolkit is designed so one can either scan through the Modules or go directly to the particular Module that will help with the question at hand. Similarly, the examples and resources provided are only suggestions, as each director will need to identify the materials that work best for them.

To enter the Toolkit, click on "Modules" at the top of the menu  on the left hand side of the screen. The following page lists "How to Use This Toolkit" at the top, followed by six modules covering TVR financial management and program management topics. Once at the bottom of a content page, you can move to the "Next" or "Previous" page, or click on "Modules" again to skip to a new subject. 

We know there are gaps in topics and content, and over time we intend to fill in the gaps and add additional items such as scenarios and example situations. If you see inaccuracies, content that needs to be updated, other topics that can be addressed, or content to add to current topics, please let us know using the "Contact Us" button below.
